The Power of Imagination in Bringing Ideas to Life

An aspect of imagination is called "anoah," which refers to visualization. This is where you create the world you want to see inside your mind before it becomes a reality. This is something that people in the New Age movement have figured out. They understand that when you start to create a mental picture, it generates energy in the spiritual realm. Studies in electromagnetism show that our emotions and thoughts can produce invisible rays of energy.

So, when someone begins to visualize the world they want, something happens; it creates energy. If that energy aligns with what God has promised you, then God’s power will activate it. However, if that energy comes from something unhealthy, like a movie, then the spirit behind that movie will influence it instead. 

This is why many people struggle with immorality. For instance, those who watch pornography often do so until it becomes part of their thoughts and visions. Eventually, even after the movie ends, those images continue to play in their minds. The spirits that inspired the creation of that movie did not do so just for entertainment; they aimed to trap people in immorality.

You might notice that a guy who can't even afford to rent a house seems to be sleeping with women every week, and you might wonder how he pulls it off. There’s a certain wisdom in darkness; it's a skill that comes with an energy that empowers him. He has a way with words that can charm a woman into bed, and he may not even realize how he gained that level of confidence and charisma. 

When you hear some of these guys talk to women, it sounds like they have honey on their tongues. They possess a kind of wisdom that can disarm even the most sophisticated lady. You’ll see a guy in torn jeans who, with just a simple greeting, can throw a woman off balance. He is so sure of himself, claiming, “I’m the ladies' man; they can’t resist me.” Sometimes, he’ll casually touch his beard, and you can sense something is happening with the ladies around him. This guy is almost like a partner to a demon because he has absorbed these tricks. It’s all in his mind. He knows that when he touches his beard, it has a certain effect on women. And indeed, when he does that, the lady starts to blush. Everything he imagines—how he will meet her, what he will say, how he will take her out, and even how he will bring her home—plays out just as he envisioned. You might be left wondering how he has such power. The truth is, he created those scenarios in his mind and believed in them. When you’re inspired by a spirit and start creating those visions, even that spirit cannot hold itself back from you anymore. 

The words and images you create in your mind will eventually manifest in reality. Before God created the visible world, the Bible says; «The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters.»

‭‭Genesis‬ ‭1‬:‭2‬ ‭NKJV‬‬. That represents the realm of imagination. God first created that world within Himself and then used His word to bring it into existence.

When you visualize pictures based on the word of God or what He has spoken to you, amazing things can happen. For instance, if God tells you that you are an evangelist to the nations or that you will heal the crippled, every day as you go about your life, you can picture yourself in a stadium, preaching to a crowd. You can see where your podium will be, visualize the congregation, and imagine the moment when the crippled begin to walk. If you wait patiently, the energy from God will empower that imagination. You’ll begin to see how you will become known, how the crowd will gather, and how people will be healed. Eventually, you might find that you are no longer the one in control of these visions—God will take over. That’s the incredible power of imagination.
